Concept

What is your idea? What is the point of your production? Before you can drill down into your topic/story of choice, you should define in one or two sentences the main reason for the production. Jot this "mission" down in a text file as if you were writing a Mission Statement for a business plan where you need to explain to others your intent for creating a Brand or defining a Niche Audience or Community of targeted viewers and customers.

In your concept, will need to begin to address the Format of the show as well. There are no real limitations or specific guidelines you'll need to follow at this stage of the production. Just simply begin to list the information, concepts or emotions you'd like to convey with your media project; the fine tuning will come soon enough so get your best ideas on paper, in a text program or right here in your E-One account.

Creating new market space is the goal of your conceptuaization process. You want to go beyond what is available currently to customers in your field of expertise. Work with corporate affiliates to determine their existing problems and develop solutions to their problems such as lowering return rates for products or educating customers as to proper usage of products. It may be valuable to market products in a new way or offer purchase incentives via contests. Prompting customers to create feedback and product usage techniques is also a great approach at creating a stronger brand for yourself and your sponsors in the eyes of their customers.
